We will use the following
process to establish your partnership:
1.
Build the Foundation
- Select a school
with which to partner
- Meet with the business/organization
to discuss your mutual needs and resources and partnership activities
that may support them
- Identify a lead
contact person plus a team of 2-3 other staff members to work collaboratively
with the business/organization
2. Implementation
- Assess the needs
and resources of the organization/business and school
- Establish a partnership
agreement that outlines short and long-range goals
- Launch the partnership
by introducing the business/organization to the students and staff at
the school
3. Continuity
- Develop a system
of regular communication regarding intended and actual outcomes of partnership
activities
- Meet regularly
with partners to plan and evaluate partnership activities. Many schools
host monthly or quarterly meetings with all partners
4. Evaluation
- Monitor and evaluate
the strengths and weaknesses of partnership activity on an agreed-upon
basis
